A yearly tradition that is here to stay. Glögg
and some Swedish Christmas treats in the company of good friends.
Ooops, they caught me...
It was interesting to see how almost all of our European
friends came close to or little bit later than the set time. For the
first hour there were only Europeans here. Then the Amercians started
to show up. No judgement, just interesting to notice...
Just like last year we did put something interesting
for the kids in every room, in order for them to enjoy themselves,
the room with the slides, the room with Shrek playing and Linn's room
with all her toys...
Mingling
Stop being silly....
...so we can get a great family photo
We wanted to show our non-Swedish friends how we celebrate Lucia
so we made a Lucia procession and sang some Lucia songs. Linn and
Alice were "tärnor" and Thea was a "tomte".
Here comes our Lucia, Filippa...
Oh yes, here we have two "tomtar" as well, Mikael and
Jonas
And here we are singing on our way out...
Some more mingling...
We had a great afternoon and hope the rest of you enjoyed
it as much as we did!
